Description

Figures 284 (upper) and 285 (lower) from Chapter 9 (Peroxisomes) of 'The Cell, 2nd Ed.' by Don W. Fawcett M.D. Diaminobenzidene reacts with peroxidase to produce a dense reaction product in the peroxisomes, distinguishing them from similarly shaped lysosomes in these images from Leydig cells of boar testis. A PDF copy of the accompanying chapter is available on the ASCB’s BioEDUCATE website.
