Description

Scanning electron micrograph of Mountain Cedar pollen. This pollen causes Mountain Cedar allergy that cause itchy, runny nose, sneezing, nasal blockage, excess tearing and itchy eyes in people from December through February in the Northern Hemisphere.

Images collected with an FEI instrument: Expida Family, using the following paramenters: Magnification: 80000x, Horizontal Field Width: 4μm, Voltage: 2kV, Detector: TDL, Spot: 5 nA, and Working Distance: 4.617mn.
