Description

Time lapse movie prepared from spinning disc confocal images of Drosophila S2 cells stably expressing pMT-Eos2-alpha tubulin. A diagonal ~2.5 micrometer strip was photoconverted and images taken every minute for 20 minutes. Microtubules clearly migrate beyond the confines of the photoconverted strip. This movie is part of a grouped set that includes the corresponding time series stack of images.

Technical Details

Time series were recorded using a Nikon U-2000 inverted microscope equipped with a Nikon 100x NA 1.4 objective lens, Perfect Focus System, CSU-10 spinning disc confocal head (Yokogawa) and Evolve EMCCD camera (Roper Scientific) driven by Nikon Elements software.
